​Brother Tommy Davenport was born October 15, 1955 in Troy, Alabama. He has three brothers and two sisters along with several other family members. He attended Pike County High school and graduated in 1974 He enlisted into the United States Army in May 1974 and retired in 1996. During his military time he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. His dedication to growth in ministry earned him the certification certificate for Leadership Impact Empowerment June 10, 2020. He received his certificate of completion for ministry development What the Bible Says to the Minster Training and course studies to be licensed as a Minister July 2020. 

In 1986 Brother Davenport gave his life to Jesus Christ September 2, 2001 having been chosen as a man of good report, full of the spirit and of wisdom, and capable of using the office well, was set apart publicly to the office and work of Deacon by Immanuel Baptist Church. While stationed at White Sand Missile Range in Las Cruces New Mexico from 2013 until 2015 Brother Davenport served as Deacon and assistant Pastor at Hacienda Baptist Church. Brother Davenport was transferred to Germany in 2015 and joined Shammah International Church and served in numerous positions. In 2019 he and his family relocated to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama. On September 8, 2019 he joined Unity Christian Fellowship International Ministries under the leadership of Bishop, Senior Pastor Ernest A. Edwards. He was appointed to the position of Director, Ministry of Help by Bishop Ernest A. Edwards, Senior Pastor UCFI Ministries November 10, 2019. 

While stationed in Mainz, Germany he married his wonderful wife Sylvia in 1980 and they are the parents of twin sons, Tommy and Tobias. Brother & Sister Davenport are the proud grandparents of 2 grandchildren.
